The Golden Circle concept – the inspiring tool rather than manipulation. Consists of:
WHAT: Everyone knows what to do and is able to describe the product/service. It’s a result of the action.
HOW: Just someone know how to do. It explains how something is different or better. It’s your values and principles that guide how to bring your cause to life.
WHY: Only few of them know clearly articulate why they do what they do. Money is not meant now. Why is your purpose, cause or belief.
Remember – WHY is the belief, HOWs are the actions we take to realise that belief and WHATs are the results of those actions.
People don’t buy WHAT you do, they buy WHY you do – and it’s important to communicate it!
Only those who act like commodities are the ones who wake up every day with the challenge of how to differentiate. With the own sense of WHY are never worried about it. They START with WHY in everything they say and do.
What should come first?
The WHY must be the one - it provides the context for everything else. It inspires.
Trust and how we can build it?
Trust is a feeling, not experience. It comes with a sense of value. Even trust is something so fragile that it is easy to break it – be careful. We build it by communicating and sharing the same values with other cultures (culture of the same interests, values, beliefs) – show your WHY and demonstrate it by WHAT.
è “Ability to leave the den and hunt/explore” This message brings the idea of “LBD” or “ATP” in real life…
We build the trust in the community we are participant of, just because of the shared values in the neighbourhood. This fact is even stronger than some reference or proof.
Energy motivates but charisma inspire. Charisma is hard to define, near impossible to measure and copy. All great leaders have charisma because all they have clarity of WHY. Charisma commands loyalty. Loyalty is not like motivation tactics for employees such as money or other benefits for which they get up everyday.
Types of PPL:
WHY-types are more likely visionary, the ones with overactive imagination, they tend to be optimistic. They see things most people don’t see in the future.
HOW-types live more in here and now, they are realistic and more practical. The structure and processes are the key.
*Note:
People are so sensitive and perceptive, so you don’t even have to be precious because they will see it anyway. This fact was proven in real life – I just to tryout some nutrition tricks for myself and focus more on how my body works and people around noticed it immediately, they were curious about my diet, and I started to overthink more than before, just because of how they acted to me. Finally, I decided to start with a casual and balanced lifestyle as before, now everyone is happier.
Self-reflection: WHY I behave this way?
I try to be a naturally positive human who’s open minded and not afraid of any situation or opportunity. Why? My habit is brought from my childhood base, so thankfully to my parents for. I don’t need to play any role in this game, it’s just not worth for anyone. Being ourselves makes us much more valuable and sociable. This guide (which was given to me) is something I would never trade with. I think this is rare. My clarification of WHY is an authenticity.
Even though there is written how important is the WHY in out lives, that it is just like the reason we are happy, we feel the enthusiasm, we feel the success and have the joy of life!
Role of leader is NOT compatible to create ideas, his role is to create culture where the great ideas happen.
And at the end - ATP:
Every single project we will make with my team will consist of a crystal clear WHY we do that. The Golden Circle will be such a balanced roadmap to anything I want to build.
First things first… In Kaamos, we need to define all the WHYs about our team and focus. The strongest motivator WHY teampreneurs/members do WHATs! Make a W list first.
Even I sometimes feel the disgust about something, but when I started the question WHY I do it, it changed my feelings and my view on that task – it was clear, meaningful.
And what I have been doing during lasts months is the self journaling with the tense of WHY, however I feel at the moment I pause for a while to set all the WHYs on a paper… This procedure helps me mentally to focus on the things and m feelings.
