This will probably be my shortest essay.
Disclaimer: there will be no benefit from the book. It will be solely my opinion.
Sometimes, living in the Czech Republic, I come across the fact that I am Russian and this causes certain inconveniences. But it's understandable. In every country, one way or another, certain people are disliked. But, I have never faced problems and discrimination because I am a woman. I don't take into account any sexist jokes, I'm talking about global things that affect my life.
When I started reading this book, I began to suspect that the author is from a certain country, where race, gender are discriminated against all the time, and they inflate problems where there are not so many of them in the rest of the world. I immediately went to Google where the author came from. And! voila! Of course, this is an American woman who decided to write a manual on how to survive in today's very terrible world.
It may be selfish, but I'm allergic to these topics. It's like discussing coronavirus and vaccination - it won't lead to anything.
And, I like to say: we need to solve problems as they come.
I have no problems with self-esteem, which would cause me discomfort now, and I am not afraid to answer for my words. I feel confident in society and can put people in their place who are trying to hurt me in any way.
I do not feel that I am not respected somewhere or that there are more claims against me because I am a woman.
The whole book is conducted in explanations of some situations that occur with women, and also offers a solution that will help them.
A lot of advice is given in this book, but to be honest, I can't apply it in my life, because I consider them quite primitive or absolutely unsuitable for my life.
I'm not saying that everything is perfect with my self-esteem or I know everything in this world. I have something to work on, I know my weaknesses and strengths. But the book unfortunately for me was only a waste of time. Absolutely not my book. It is better to read other essays on this book, they will be one hundred percent more useful for you.
